I'm not sure that Alvin C. York would cotton to one of them new fangled shoot'in irons. They didn't have them things up near the three forks of the Wolf.
The official "Tennessee Rifle" should be well, a Tennessee Rifle. Similar to a full stock Kentucky pre 1880 muzzle loader but, instead of brass hardware, The Tennessee Rifle has hardware that is all iron. The iron was made at Tennessee iron furnaces.
Any way, congrats to Ronnie Barrett! They make a fine rifle just South of Murfreesboro, TN!
