Same here. You can check online. Don't think they started processing them until the last day to submit, which was in late January.

I'm in about 10 weeks so far. Sent it in right after thanksgiving. Bought ammo, too, so it was about $78 total.

I watched mine online go through the processing, ..., approved, and mailed states and then on 1/22 received a letter saying "rejected", vendor not approved. Well heck! They had the price, the price was on the receipt, and the receipt was from Walmart. Fortunately I keep scanned copies of ALL rebates. I called and after the wait and run around, I got to someone who said I'd have to mail it again. I asked for a super, asked for an email address to send my scanned receipt (explaining that there is NO way they had all the other info without having the vendor). I was told they don't accept emails but she finally said I could FAX it. I signed up for one of those free online FAX services and sent it. She wanted to end the call at that moment and I explained there was no way I was ending the call until she received the fax and she acknowledged they had everything they needed. I made her wait the 30 minutes for the FAX service . I was then told I'd have to wait the original processing time AGAIN. I called today and all she could tell me was it's approved.
I HATE rebate companies.

I took advantage of the G\S ammo rebate on Black Friday 2015. I sent it in to them about a week later after I received the ammo and cut out all the upc codes from the boxes. I received my check last week (2/7/2016). Took roughly 2 months from day form sent til check arrived.

2 pieces of advice:
Follow directions EXACTLY
Keep copies of EVERYTHING you send (even the outside of thge mailing envelope).
The companies who process these rebates count on no follow-up when they reject entries for whatever reason. It's a racket and I believe the FCC has gotten involved on some if these. Don't be afraid to turn them over to your state's Attorney General's consumer unit-they WILL go after them if something ain't right..

I'm always extremely meticulous about rebates. I scan all the individual items, I place check marks against the required items on their form as I create the "pack", I scan the "pack" all stapled together before folding in the envelope and I do scan the envelope, with the stamp. I print the envelope on my laser printer and keep the word file Rebates have been centers for scams for years.

Next Monday the 22nd, it will be 11 weeks since I mailed everything to Remington. Web site says still processing. And I thought EOTech was slow, yet, it only took them 9 weeks for a full refund.

A year or two ago I sent in a rebate for a 870 shotgun.
It took around 3-4 months but I did finally get the rebate.
If rebate form was filled out correctly you'll se a rebate eventually.

I hear ya on the "racket"! It took me 6 months to get a measly $15 rebate from NAPA Auto Parts. That was after I sent it in twice. I'll spare you the long story. Anyway it was only $15 but I wasn't going to let them off the hook. Suffice to say I won't deal with them again.

Hell, I bought a high dollar pair of windshield wipers ( Bosch ) because it was buy a pair, send the rebate and receipt in and get the money back for one. So buy one get one AFTER the rebate. I waited the obligatory amount of time and got a letter stating that I had to buy a pair of wipers. I wrote back and said I did ( my car took 2 different sizes) . I was told that I had to buy two of the same size . I kinda raised a little hell with the next email, and I was told OK, send the original receipt in and get the rebate . I said " you mean the receipt that you required me to send the first time that you never sent back? " That was the end of the conversation.

I avoid mail in rebates like the plague.
There is always an excuse why they take so long...

Well I'm still "in the queue". As I said above, I mailed in originally around TDay, got a weird "reject" on 1/22 saying the place of purchase was unknown (but they knew the price from the RECEIPT)
Faxed in the receipt on 1/25, got verbal that they now had what they needed and was just told I had to wait another couple weeks and call back. Today is 6 weeks and 1 day since I faxed them what they already had and was told to wait 4-6 weeks.
Oh well, rebate lotto!

I sent my info in the same day after purchasing the Remington 870 tactical. After nothing was received I called and talked to a young lady who was not very friendly and informed me they did not have any information available until 40+ working days after submitting the forms. I called again in Feb. 2018 and was told the they needed the original receipt of purchase, as they had received my forms but the proof of purchase was a photo copy. I explained that I felt I needed the original for my records for proof of ownership and any warranty submissions that might occur. The rep indicated that she would now mark me as Non-Compliant. I called Remington customer service but they indicated they would check into this and contact me. NO RESPONSE! Very disappointed in Remington- have purchased and used their products for 60 years (yea I'm that old), so it's pretty simple I just stop buying their products.

It ain't worth worrying 10 years off my life dealing with people who could care less. I would probably waste the $$ on something I didn't really need. I don't consider any rebate as a reason to buy anything I really want. Read all the posts and commented before I realized the OP date. Got to start paying more 'tention.

You're ahead of me. It took Academy a little while to get mine to me but I sent the rebate in on 12/1/17 - so it has already been more than two months.
I haven't got my rebate AND their stupid, pointless website says they are still waiting to receive my documentation - even though I contacted them and received an email reply on 1/3/18 confirming that they actually had received my documentation
Gee, I wonder why they don't have enough customers to stay out of bankruptcy!
(Yes, I know the two are unrelated - but it sounded good).

I'm still waiting for a Remington rebate of $60 for buying 6 cases of 12 gauge shot shells when they were offering a $1 rebate per box. That was 6 years ago! Guess they're not sending it........ That is one reason I'll never buy "rebate deal" ammo from them ever again!
After calling a few times (back then) I gave up and wrote them off......

Sent in my rebate in December. Check arrived last week. Hustling to the bank before it bounces.

Rem rebate received
My Remington rebate for Black Friday arrived mid January. I'm now waiting on second one from Christmas rebate. BTW I received my two S&W Nation's finest rebates today even though they were filed 3 months apart last summer.
Go figure!

My advice to anyone who receives a rebate check is to cash it immediately before Remington formally enters bankruptcy. Such checks maybe no good if that happens. If you haven't received a check before bankruptcy happens, you may never receive it.

I mailed in for black Friday rebates on ammo and 2 pistols.
Website for status was useless and contradicted emails I got from them.
I did finally receive both rebate checks after about 2 months. I had just about given up hope, especially reading about impending bankruptcy plan. Never again Remington.

Read about the bankruptcy a couple days ago myself. Heard sales were down 27 percent in the first 9 months of 2017. Am sorry to hear of this but not surprised due to the "issues" of the past few years. Owner of an 1100, and 700 from years back which are of great quality and never let me down. Hearing of complaints of some of the later offerings. Heard the 710 and 770 rifles were of bad quality. A real shame indeed.

If they actually intended to give you the money, they would reduce the price.

In the marketing biz it's called "slippage." They usually can calculate how many people will buy because of the rebate and then never use it. They bank on it
Methinks, however, gun owners are not like folks who buy soap, fast food or whatever.....and their calculation of their slippage was probably wrong.
I'll be sorry to see them go down after all these years....maybe the bankruptcy will give them time to reorganize and get a second chance. Or someone will buy name.
"Springfield Armory's Remington Firearms Division" (all products made in the Philippians) will really confuse consumers.

The latest information today is that Remington plans to turn the business over to the creditors. If they can work the deal and get some additional working capital (about $100 Million) from the creditors to stay in operation, Remington will likely take Chapter 11 very soon. Remington and Cerberus are not commenting on the exact reorganization plan. Details will probably be out later this week.

Remington has indicated that it is going to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. If they do before rebates are issued it means that any rebate payments not made will be settled in the bankruptcy process. Since rebates are not secured debts, if folks get a rebAte is likely to be partial ifmat all.

Well, I guess mine must have been put in the mail before they filed then - 'cause it came in today's mail. You can bet it will be deposited on Monday, for sure!

I got mine and it didnt take that long but I did have to call customer service and they were very helpful! The only thing I didnt like was the fact that the UPC codes are impossible to take off the owners manuals so you are pretty much forced to cut them off the manuals and take them to a sheet of paper. It was well worth it thought. I think the rebate for 1911s is $100!
