For those of you with a safe full of Colt queens, here is what they were going for at auction this past weekend in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Prices shown do not include tax (+6%). There were no buyer's fees charged.

The King Cobra prices are kind of a surprise but then again, I can't remember ever seeing one for sale except way back when they were still being produced.

I bought an El Matadore when they came out. Wound up selling it back to the dealer because it bothered me that Matador (there is no "e") was misspelled. Is that anal,or what? I'm sure it was under a grand.

Passed up a number of King Cobras at $700 about 6 years ago COLT Prices at Auction Pythons seem to have backed down a bit.Sold a 98% 4" no box last year for $2600
