Default My 2 .45 ACPs

I posted these two .45 ACPs reposing in holsters over on Gun Leather & Carry Gear, but they are "Other Brands" so here they
are. The Colt is a series 80 Gold Cup with enhancements by Mike Rainey and Karl Sokol. Both world class pistol smiths. On the right is the SIG P220 just the way it came out of the box, except the added Hogue Pau Ferro American Model stocks.

Those are very nice pistols.

I like the comforting sense that my Springfield TRP .45 provides when it rides on my side. Even though modern 9mm rounds perform just as well, there's just something primal about the heavy 230 grain slugs almost a half inch diameter.

A nice pair of .45s.
But why do you only have two?

A fine pair! I've carried a Sig P220 .45 on the job since 1991, so I may be biased.

Grayfox I only have two .45 pistols (in the picture). I also have pistols in
.40 and 9MM. I prefer revolvers and have quite a few more of them.

Nice 45's Crazyphil.

Like you I only have 2, a 1966 National Match and an early Kimber target/match.

I'm thinking about one of the new Colt Competition models. And thinking. Don't know if the fever will subside before a local shop gets one in.
