The problem was that after the second round was fired it would pop out just enough not to chamber a round. This happen consistently. A pretty knowledgeable person at the gun club I just got accepted to said that the Walther PPK shold fit nicely. My brother, who I was with today at the club, had his PPKS. It fit but was just a little bit long because that is a 7 shot standard and mine is a 6 shot. I put 4 in the mag to try it and it worked just fine. I guess my question would be:
1. Does anyone have an Indian Arms .380
2. If the PPK standard 6 shot fits and works can there be any harm or damaged caused to me or the gun.

I remember your post and I have a Indian. To the best of my knowledge if it fits and works go for it. I have read in other places that a Walther mag will work OK, some times it does require a couple minuets of file work.
I have two Indian mags for my Indian one still has the finger extension on it and the one I carry in the gun I removed that extension to make it a bit smaller. The bigger is carried as a back up mag!
FWIW having a mag hang a bit lower than the gun is common if your using longer than standard mags. If it works its good.
I have mags for my 6906 that came off the bigger version (3 more shots), that hang a bit low but fire just fine.
Till the "Safe act" passed in my state I had a longer mag in the 6906, which at that time was in a night table but not carried. Now its not legal(nothing over 10 rounds) and the gun is retired & I got rid of the bigger mags!
