Default reprofiled my knife

I got these knives from a wholesaler and the second from bottom had a crummy edge, very steep angles which doesn't allow it to be sharpen very well.

I set up my EdgePro clone with a 180 grit stone and used a lot of elbow grease.

Lots and lots of elbow grease.

It took me hours which I spread through the week and finally got it today. It's all done with a 180 grit. I haven't got around to fine honing yet as I'm tired.

That 440C steel is pretty hard metal. Whew! That was fun.

Yet it's pretty sharp now.

That knife is what I want and I ordered 4 to meet the minimum required from a wholesaler. I saved a bunch. The retail prices are usually 2x-3x more and some etailers just scalp you with their ridiculous prices.

I like the one on top a lot and it's heavy as heck. The handle is combo of aluminum and carbon fiber. The blade is fantastic.

Finished the job today. Made the second bevel with the 800 grit stone and honed it with 1500 grit stone.

Whew, it is sharp.
