What do you think? I waited since they first were offered to get one in 41 magnum.

Now I'm on the fence about the Redhawk 5 1/2" barrel in 45long colt. I can't shoot the 300gr COR-BON ammo out of a s&w. I don't want to hurt my s&w nor take it to the field. With three bulging discs in my lower back I might not be able to hunt bears with a rifle so a handgun may get me in the woods.

Sorry this is the pic from my seller on gb I owe you guys pics I figured this would be easy.

Mighty fine looking. Nice to see you got the box with it Mine is missing. I also spent some time pursuing the one I have. Ruger builds them like tanks. Enjoy and good luck in bear woods.

Ordered one when they first came out since I didn't know how many were going to be made...a very sweet shooter. Had one of the 5.5" guns many years ago but never did like the balance...4" works much better for me.

Bill...what do you need a .45 Colt for...this will do whatever a .45 Colt will with less recoil. If you want a heavy for the caliber bullet get some of the Buffalo Bore 230s or 265s...

Welcome to the club. Looks just like mine. Now you'll have to save your $$$, get the Henry 41mag lever gun mentioned in the thread below to keep it company.

At today's prices I need to cool it for a while.
I'd like a Redhawk or super Blackhawk in 45long colt. Someday it's on the back burner. My birthday and retirement gifts are off my list. I have my Christmas present next. (Excuses)

My camp is near the apple orchard farther in the forest on the right and the bears den on the left farther in the national forest.
I just need to sit inbetween them. We harvested the last one near the trail coming from the apples.

She arrived today and is prettier in person. I order the shims to do the trigger work.

Now someday we will do a shootout between the colt, ruger and s&w revolvers in 22, 38spc, 357 mag, 41 mag and 44 mag.
