Default Sig P220R: home defense duty

Bought this Sig P220R from a forum member, and just took delivery from my FFL.

Super nice condition, well maintained and lubed, and ready for me to take it out for some rounds downrange...

It'll be my nightstand/home defense gun, with 9 rounds of 45 ACP on tap, and a TLR-1 light.

Short reset trigger and E2 grips make this a great gun, and I can't wait to shoot it!

Those Sigs are some really neat shooters. I sold my last real Sig a few years ago and have an empty feeling where my p220 used to be (as well as p226 p229 p239) now the only Sig in the household is my wife's p238.

The 22* series of Sigs were really great guns.

I've got a Sig P220 Combat with Streamlight TRL-4 in the same role. It has a 10 round extended and 8 round flush magazine. Probably the best shooter I have (other than my Model 19). I wanted a S&W M&P45, but the CA "approved roster" got in the way. I did swap the standard grips for Hogue grips.

Wheely, I think you are putting that gun in a roll for which it is perfectly suited. My P220ST does the same thing.
