FYI for you SIG guys looking for a new P229c Carry. I just purchased a brand new SAS version (with night sights, 2 mags, SRT trigger and G10 grips) from Tanners Sports Center (found on GB) for an amazing $599! They have several still in stock at that price. The SAS model seems to go between $800 and $1100 on GB.

Good luck!

Lol that my local gun store!

Good price, I've seen them in the shelves and debated about it but ultimately I have other options

That was the first time I was ever there. Man what a busy place! The customers were lined up 2 deep at the counter - I thought they were serving drinks! LOL

I'll be going back again. I'll have to make the trip when its not as busy so I can actually look around. Nice folks too!

Cheers!

Not busy? Hahaaha! Try Tuesday around 9am! . But seriously, they are always busy. Lots of sales and just generally good prices. Sometimes you find something cheaper somewhere else but they are good for reasonable prices all year long. The only thing is they will never ever ever ever bargain....ever....not even for cash or $50 or $2. Not ever. Lots of people say "well a gun takes up space" their reply is ...it takes up almost no space and while this may not sell other do and space is always available.

In the last month they had some great deals on used guns. Most have been sold though.

If you like .357 Sig, buy the .40 from tanners and then buy a p224 357 Sig barrel from Sig arms. This is the barrel they use in the 229c (per Sig Arms customer service). When you register your sig, you get a 20% discount promo code. Apply that to the barrel purchase and your looking at $158 and free shipping from Sig.

You can also get a 9mm xchange kit. But for the kit price, probably makes sense to apply the $$$ to a different sig model.

Cheers!
