Winchester Model 97 in the Movies
Netflix WWII "War Pigs" movie has a French Captain using a Winchester Model 97 12 gauge as his combat weapon.
Not since the western "The Wild Bunch" have I seen a "97" used in the movies.

The last "untouchables" with Costner& Connery had lots of them.
And "The Wind and the Lion" and those Miummy movies all have
them, to name just a few.

Yes, right before the famous car chase up and down the San Francisco hills.
It's been quite awhile since I last saw "The Wild Bunch," but I don't remember any M97s, only M12s. Was one used in the final slaughter scenes?
And some M97s were used for real during both WWI and WWII

In "The Wind and the Lion" Candice Bergen wields a Model 97 Winchester pretty convincingly.

I remember Fred Mertz having one in an episode of I Love Lucy!
I can't remember the circumstances, but Fred had a Mod. 97 and Ricky had a Model 62.
