Added another 1911 to the bunch (Sig-Sauer)
Seems that in my dotage,I'm reverting to my first love, that being 1911's. While at first (50 years ago) only a Colt held any interest for me,that changed somewhere along the line and subsequently I began adding clones from other makers, probably 8 or 10 of varying quality from Rock Island to Wilson Combat. Yesterday,I added yet one more maker to the group. I liked the looks of it as soon as I saw it in the dealer's case. Good price, box and docs and extra mag. Like new condition. Now,all that's left is to see how it shoots. It sure feels good in my hand,I'll say that much. So,here's my new Sig 1911 XO.

p.s. It has an Ed Brown bbl bushing. Can any body tell me if they came with it from the factory?

Bobby - I suspect that you will be very happy with the Sig.
Please stop tempting us with the holsters in the background
I have no idea about the bushing, but why would they buy a competitor's parts to put into their guns when they have a great parts resource in-house?

Good question. I have to think it is a replacement, but I just don't know. The grips are also replacements (originals are in the box,but they are ugly, imo),but I have no complaints about either modification. As to the holsters,I swear that they are reproducing in the dark!

Nice catch! I've had a few sig 1911's along the way. They build a nice one. Still keep a 1911 Target in Nitron finish. It's accuracy is right up there with my custom tuned Colt Gold Cup National Match.

Well, that's good to hear, even though my days of sub-moa groups are far behind me for several reasons. These days anything sub-center mass is more than acceptable, especially with a 230gr JHP.

Nice grab on the SIG there Bobby.
That is one make (SIG), that i have never had any problems
with and they are all accurate. More accurate than I.
