I bought a mount at Academy that attaches to the rails at a 45degree angle (about $12.00). Mounted on the right side. Still foldable. To access Red Dot, orient firearm to the left.

Default Range report sorta...

Took it to the range and sighted it in. But get this... when I got home to clean it I'll be darned if there wasn't a bullet stuck in the barrel... oh well... it's been fixed and $35 later I'll pick it up from my local LGS tomorrow.

Since I am a MA resident, the seller wouldn't give me the standard capacity magazine. Credited me for the mag and walked out with it for $359...

They made a lot of improvements over the first version of the rifle. The front site is nice now.

Do you still get burnt powder to the face with the newer version ?

What? You can't leave us hanging like that?
What kind of ammo, how many rounds, have you cleaned it before the range trip, what did LGS say when you took it in?

Aluminum case from Wal Mart... Federal I think? I was not happy but the amazing thing was apparently it was the last round I fired...didn't even know it till I got home.

LGS got it out with no problem.

Edit: I did not clean it before the range trip. Put about 200 rounds through it.

Midwest industries is making a dot mount that doesn't interfere with folding the Sub2K. Military Arms Channel on YouTube and full30 published a video.

One word of advice, my Gen2 was afflicted by the front sight post issue: rotating off. It had to go back to keltec for repair.

That's almost exclusively what I buy for the range (federal aluminum). I've put almost 800 rds down range with mine. Can honestly say, not 1 issue (knock on wood).
You def got lucky it was on last round. If it wasn't, you would of had a split barrel.
How far down the barrel was it lodged - do you know?
I was taking a cleaning kit with me every time I went to the range (and then I stopped). Think I'm gonna start taking it again - just in case.

Think I saw that video or another one. Didn't they use some sort of loctite or something?
