Default Skinner peep sight

Came across a blurb about "Skinner" peep sights. I was thinking of putting a Williams sight on my Marlin 39A, but don't really want the bulk of hanging off the side like they do.
This Skinner peep looks pretty good. Has anyone used or seen one? If so, how do you like them?
Any thoughts or feedback is appreciated.
Thank you

I have the basic peep sight from Skinner on my Marlin 1894 44mag that threads into the rear scope thread hole. I was not getting along with the buckhorn rear sight and wasn't enjoying the rifle. The Skinner transformed the rifle into a shooter for me.
Highly recommend Skinner sights.

I've got a couple of Skinner sights, one on a Winchester 94, the other on a Mannlicher Schoenauer 1952. I really like them, but have a few friends that don't care for either (the function that is - both agree that they are good looking and well built). Keep in mind that these are both mounted in the original dovetail, so they are quite a bit forward of where a frame mounted peep sight would sit. As that is the style you would be using, I would highly recommend it over a Williams/Redfield Style sight.

On a side note, I recently picked up a ATN X-Sight, and well to say it is kinda large is putting it nicely. I have it mounted on a piece of QD rail so that I can move it between rifles. One particular rifle had a folding BUIS that wouldn't clear the rear of the scope. I had to either scrap the sight, or move it forward of the scope. I moved it forward just to test it out, and to my surprise I really liked the sight picture - it is very similar to my Skinners.

I have a Skinner Low-Pro Sight on a Marlin 39A. I love that it is so trim and low profile and allowed me to keep the original front sight. The regular sight that mounts on the base may require a taller front bead sight. It lets me shoot nickels at 25 yards.

I have 'em on several guns. They work great and they're very rugged. Just beware of sharp edges when making windage adjustments...

It's a popular sight on the Rossi M92, where people put it in the place of the silly safety.
