Post your Ram's Horn grips here, my new favorite!
Well, I finally solved the issues around putting GP100 grips on my current production 44 Mag Alaskan. I wanted to do this primarily to use the grip insert for stag, however, I happened upon these Ram's Horn grip inserts on ebay and am thrilled with them. Lots of character and color.
The only issues now are: 1) can I shoot it as comfortably as with the factory installed Hogue grips, or will I need shooting gloves for comfort and 2) strength, will they hold up over time as stag will?
Now, if I can only find some Ram Horn for my 442...
Here are some pics, please post some of your own!

I was hoping that bringing this post back up might get you folks to show us your Ram’s Horn grips. I haven’t seen many over the years. I think they look awesome, but maybe I am in the minority. Since ivory and Sambar Stag are difficult to get, I thought Ram’s Horn might take their place.

Here's a set of sheep horn on my 45 Colt. Had them made by Grashorn to finish off this project.

This is my 2 1/2” m19 wearing Grashorn’s sheep. I don’t shoot it wearing these grips so I can’t help with sheep’s durability.

I don’t have grips, but I do have a knife that I put some ram’s horn on.
Maybe I will tackle some grip panels.

Grashorn grips on a custom vaquero. Vaquero converted from 45 Colt to 38-40, engraved. Custom (de-constructed EPS holster & belt with Indian Head conchos) and a matching Bowie from Bark River. Also have a matching '92 "Winnie" breakdown, short rifle with matching engraving.

I had a beautiful set made by Roy Fishpaw for a single action Colt. I since sold the gun with the grips because he told me to do so. He said that he fits them so precisely to the particular frame and numbered them to the frame, that it was best to sell them with the gun.

I now have some grips to post in this thread. I haven’t decided their final home, but here are the guns I put the 2 new pair of grips on for the time being.
