Just bought this Model 17 lookalike. J.P. Sauer and Sohn Medallion .22 LR double action revolver. Looks new evn though made in 1971. Original box confirms the date. Imported for Hawes Firearms, LA CA. Shoots accurate, action very smooth. Only minor holster wear on the barrel.
Can't find any real information on this model. Most sites only seem to mention single action revolvers. The only listing I could find in the Gun Values book was for Hawes Firearms and that was only one paragraphs worth.
