A couple Ponys in the corral
I came across a couple good deals lately. A 76ish Diamondback and a 67ish 1911. The 1911 is an unfired commemorative and in 100% condition. I haven't decided if I'm gonna remedy that situation. Shipping box, dsplay, all the original stuff with it...

Nice catch! Enjoy.
It's funny that with all the hobbyists on this forum with good taste in firearms, all I ever see at the range is boring Tupperware.

I've been looking around and I think those WW I commemmoratives are the best buy in Colts. Royal blue finish, as genuine a 1911 as you can get. No A1 geegaws, checkering, and definitely leeetle tiny sights. Tight as a drum, too. All for 850. Its hard to find a new Colt for close to that price.
