Boker Knives
I was going through some old boxes today and found some older knives that I forgot I had. I don't know much about them, but I am sure some here do.
The first one, if I remember correctly, I got in the early 70's. I don't know if it was used when I got it. I think it is a large (4 inches-closed) Boker Tree Brand Stockman. It says "BOKER USA" on the clip blade. The shield does not have a registered trademark symbol on it. It appears to have nickel silver liners. Most pocket knives I have had, have brass liners. Any way to tell it's age like you can Case Knives?

I think the other knife is a medium Boker Tree Brand Stockman. It has "BOKER USA" on one side and "85" (tree) "88" on the other side of clip blade. It has Tree Brand and Made in Germany etched on the clip blade too. Why does it have both countries on it? It's shield has the trademark registered symbol on it. It also has brass liners like I am familiar with. I think I got it as a groomsman's gift in the late 80's. It had my initials crudely engraved in one of the bolsters.
