My S&W collection
Since joining the forum I have become quite hooked on S&W products.
I have owned a 19-1 revolver for many years.
A few weeks ago I locked on to a Shield 9.
This week I picked up an M&P 15-22 rifle.
I think I'm set for a while.

You need a Model 18 or Model 17 companion to your Model 19.
Get crackin'!

That's what they all say - until an N frame wanders by. And a J frame snubby. A K-38. An M & P15. A 686. Resistance is futile .

Allen has it right as S&W revolvers are a slippery slope as there is always another one calling your name. You need a S&W 22LR revolver for sure to go with your 15-22.

I hate to tell you this, but you are far from "set". You are just on the verge of "Smith&Wessonitis", which is an incurable disease which requires buckets of money being thrown at to keep it just slightly under control. You are in the right place, just every time you feel the urge to buy a S&W just post he question here and we will help you decide on that purchase.

You need two budgets. There is the one for room and board, however that is handled so you don't become homeless, and you remain in the good graces of your family, and then there is your Smith & Wesson budget. Don't confuse the two and you'll be alright!

Budget?
Don't worry about luxuries like food and gas.
Get the essentials... More guns and ammo!

I'm kinda thinking I should budget for gas so I can get to the range to play. Then after that a burger.

So far, except for Model 39s that I can't resist, I don't have too many: M&P 2 inch barrel, Centennial, K-22, K-38. Model 41, 52, 638, 625, 315, 27-2. Sure like two combat masterpieces, one in 22 the other in 38.

I only have a 642-1 no lock, a 60 .357, a 10 with 2" barrel,
another 10 with 4" barrel, a 67 Combat Masterpiece,
a 19 Combat Magnum, a model 27, and a model 29.
That's only 8. I better go shopping.
