Plenty of guns to secure the homstead
But guns not allowed to protect self when outside the home.
So what handgun do you get to play private Dick at the Range.

Just curious, where do you live that you cannot carry outside your home?
I don't "play" with guns at the range or elsewhere. I live in a free state so can carry my Glock 19 concealed except where prohibited by conditions of my permit.

What you are suggesting is not permitted at any ranges in my NJ area.

I was wondering the same thing. What jurisdiction, state or country,etc? Anyway, I was never a private detective, but was a Detective Sgt. for a large police department. I carried a SIG P226 9MM. Several different guns over the years in different assignnments.

Assuming by the OP comment that he wanted to play private dick at the range he wants to conceal carry.
