3 inch Taurus 431 .44 special
My latest acquisition...GB score....3" Taurus 431. Completes my Taurus .44 special "set". Shown with my 4" 441 and 445 Titanium snub. Best thing about this 431 is the GB pics made the gun look like it was blued, which is what I was expecting when I picked it up from my FFL today. I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw it was actually stainless.

I scored a Taurus 445UL 44 spl. snubby a couple years ago and it has become one of my favorite CCWs. I also have a Charter Bulldog .44spl but I like the Taurus better. I'd like to run into a Rossi 720 .44spl as I have only read glowing reports on them.

I have 3 CA 44s. I am looking for a CA 45acp. Tiny, light, big hole.

I had a Taurus 431 in blue a year or so ago. It is one of the few guns I am genuinely sorry I sold. That particular gun was as nicely finished and shot as well as any S&W I've ever owned.
Congratulations. I suspect you'll like it.

Don't believe all those negative reviews , I've owned a 455 , like your 445 except chambered in 45 acp, since 2004 . It's very accurate and I've had 0 problems with it....it's now my favorite 45. My two 1911's a Colt Commander and an AMT Hardballer are jealous of the 455's accuracy.
Mines a keeper for sure !
Congratulations on the 44 special.

There was, up until a handful of years ago, a time that I did believe the negative Taurus hype, but without any direct experiences one way or the other. But I took a chance with a PT111G2, and then started looking at their older model .44 specials, like the 431, etc. I have had zero issues with any Taurus guns I have owned. The price is attractive to me and I find the quality to be, in my experience, very good. I wish I could afford S&W .44 specials, but I can't, so I look at the Taurus alternatives. I have a Charter Arms Bulldog as well that serves me in my EDC rotation.
