Default Colt "Wiley Clapp" Lightweight Commander

Just put this one on lay-a-way, soon to come home. Blued steele slide, black Nitron aluminum frame, 70 series firing system, Novak sights and front grip checkering. I couldn't pass it up at that price. NIB. May very well become my "daily" carrier.

The Wiley Clapp Colts are great guns, you get a lot for your money. I bought one of the second generation WC LW Commanders this past spring. It doesn't have the front cocking serrations and has a rounded butt like, the WC CCO. I swapped out the grips and the long, rattley trigger right off. It's a decent carry piece out of the box, but I wanted a few things upgraded and some other work done so David Clevinger has mine right now. Can't wait to get it back, it is slotted to be my regular carry piece.

Glad I jumped on it when I did. I went in Sat to put some money towards it and my guy told me 3 people called about it the day after I committed, talk about timing. Can't wait to get this one home.

My wife bought one for my retirement in 2011. My carry pistol on the weekends and BBQs in a Milt Sparks Summer IWB. I'll tell you - mine shoots one ragged hole! Congratulations.

Forgive me this is the first I heard of Wiley Clapp Colts.I admit I started late getting into pistols and revolvers. I do like the pictures of them here on this thread.
