Kimber revolver
I got to handle one of the new Kimber snubbies at a local gun shop yesterday. It seemed like a solid, well made revolver. It was a 6 shot, 38spl. It was a little heavy, not one you could pocket carry.
I guess everyone was looking it over, it already had a slight turn ring on the cylinder. At $849, I think I'd ask for one that hadn't been used as a display piece.
It was nice, but not enough to get me to reach for the wallet. I'm waiting to see the new Colts.

If hints from Kimber are true, then a large frame target /hunting line of revolvers will be interesting to see.

The new Kimber K6 just screams for a 3" version, hopefully they will introduce that variation soon.

I thought the new KImber revolver also came in 357. ?
I actually like the looks of the gun but I think it is way over priced. Paying for Kimber name I guess.
Hickok45 did a range review on it and he liked it.

Yes, the K6 is a .357... which is why I'm not interested until they get the barrel up to 3"!

The salesman at the store said it was a 38, but I looked it up on Gunbroker to see what others were asking for it and saw they are all 357.
Prices went from the upper $700 range, to a thousand.

The asking price of a Kimber revolver is the only problem I have with buying one new at $899.00.

Being that it is a Kimber, do you have to fire 500 rounds to "Break It In"

I worked at my friends gun shop a few weeks ago. They special ordered two of these for customers who are known buying the latest and greatest guns. I looked one over for a bit. Nice gun. Looks good. Feels good. But I will never own one. Too expensive.
