I have come across a 95% original Remington model 34p 22 repeater today
it is a slim and gorgeous little rim fire with the factory Lyman peep sight, no dovetail or screw holes for any other rear sight
I have researched the history, and know it is from the 1930's and is Remington's first bolt action repeater in a 22, it is a rare rim fire rifle since they did not sell all that well during the great depression. 15 bucks back then for a traditional sight model 34, when the model 33 single shot sold for $5
after some research on the net I cant find one for sale and wonder what would be a fair offer on one of these, I know the standard catalogue of firearms shows 250 bucks in lnib condition but I feel the gun is worth more
and want to be extremely fair wwithout overpaying.
