Knurled end for Colt Trooper ejector rod
A buddy is looking for the knurled end for the ejector rod on his Colt Trooper. I have looked at the usual places (Brownell / Numrich Arms) and no luck.
Any ideas? Thanks

...a gunsmith or machinist with a lathe...a knurling tool...and the proper tap...could make one in about five minutes...

try Dick Williams gunshop in Michigan. they have a website & 800 phone number. You will probably talk to a real gun smith when you call. Google him.

Try Jack First gun parts. You'll have to call them.

The problem in making your own is the thread size, specific to Colts. I don't know what the actual thread size is. None of the standard metric and SAE sizes are close enough. There are lots of gun parts dealers which should have these. I once bought a knob from Numrich when I couldn't match the thread size. After once losing a Colt knob, I used Loctite on all my other Colts.
