Some people have more vision than I do for sure! I would think rifle barrel steel would be a good high quality starting place for a knife blade

If any of you watch "Forged in Fire". A reality show competition for knife-makers. It is interesting the methods of forging steel and creating a blade. I'd think rifle barrel steel would make great knives.
