Colt Parts Scam?
In November I ordered some miscellaneous parts for a Colt Python from the website Antique Firearms & Colt Parts for Old Guns
The associated email is [email protected]
I sent a USPS money order.
To date I have not received the parts. There is no response to email enquiries, and the phone message says the voicemail is full.
Anybody know anything about them that I might try?

Thanks for the feedback. I think nearly 3 months is unacceptable. If I don't hear from them soon, or get another way to contact them, I'll make a complaint to the USPS Postal Inspector, for whatever that might be worth.

I went through Coltparts.com and Anthony Wagstaff stated they had the part, so I mailed my check to them for an extractor spring on 11/12/16. the check cleared on 11/23. I wrote an e-mail explaining I was not in a rush, I just wanted to verify whether or not he had shipped it or if something had happened. As of this writing I have never received a response. I am going to wait a few more weeks (and try to contact them in the interim) and then I am contacting the Vancouver FBI office (wire/bank fraud) and the postal service. This is no way to do business.

I also have parts ordered from Anthony Wagstaff. I sent a USPS money order to him on 1/16/17. Since then I received a couple emails with the last dated 2/24/17. Since then no reply to any of my email, his voicemail is still full and now the site Coltparts.com has been suspended. Has anyone had any luck getting their parts or money back?

I'd say so, yes.

That might accomplish more than you'd think. They might initiate an investigation for mail fraud. At the very least, they might contact the company to see what's going on. No one wants the Postal Inspection Service taking a look at them...no one.
