I know British swords prettty well. I think the US Army used just the Model of 1902, For All Officers. Navy and Marine swords were different, but I know them.
I know of just one Allied officer who actually used his sword in battle. That was Maj. "Mad Jack" Campbell, who used a Scots boardsword, the sort with a basket guard.

I hope it is not the Japanese ones that you seek information about. That is a can of worms. Some of them may be several hundred years old and worth 6 figures. You find the correct one and it will be worth 7 figures.

Why do you think that these are WWII swords? These are much older!

Well... I guess I don't know when they were originally made, but my grandfather served in WWII between 15 DEC 42 and 15 DEC 45. He brought them back with him.

It appears to be a German Imperial age sword. There are several sword forums where they could tell you a lot more about this. swordforum.com is one good one. Those guys can narrow it down to the specific type of sword for you.
