I've had this little FN .25 for a while now. I got it from one of my kid's teachers who said it had belonged to his grandfather, long dead, who had been a bodyguard to UMW leader John L. Lewis way back when. When grandpa died, grandma stuck this gun and an H&R .38 into a tin of corn meal. The teacher got them when grandma died, and I got both from him. I don't know if the UMW story is true, but both guns had cornmeal in them.
I replaced the springs in it and finally took it to the range today. The left side is a little pitted.
Despite the tiny sights and long squinchy trigger pull I managed to shoot a respectable group of sorts at 10 yards.
I brought along my Belgian Hi-Power for company. Both guns were 100% reliable.
I know the .25 ACP inspires strong feelings, both pro and con. I plan to drop it into my pocket every now and then.
