it came in a shoulder rig that looked to be of local (wherever that is) manufacture. maybe an aviators sidearm.

I got the fever and the only cure is another A1...since this sunk like a stone I'll just add it on here.

A 1945 Ithaca with correct hi standard barrel and serrated hammer. ...Little co. Magazine.

Without the knowledge, is the obscure stamp on the right side of the pistol just forward of the hammer "Springfield Armory"?
