Default My son's new AR

I just received an old 607-ish style upper and my 16 year old has been itching to do something with it. He was moping around my shop yesterday so he started dragging out parts and ended up with this.

Its a PM marked upper with a 1:9 barrel, and an Aero lower he installed a DPMS lpk in. Didn't even lose any springs or pins!

I want him to try making it a little more "correct" so I have to round up a teardrop forward assist, a flat slip ring, and a few other odds and ends. I also need to find him an A1 stock because he wants to attempt making an early style collapsing stock to fit it better.

He is. We used to shoot together a lot until he got into high school, then football became his only focus. Lately he's been expressing interest in shooting again, I need to find some time where we can get out again. Its tough with four kids that are in multiple activities already, but I need to find a way.

Is that an SBR?

Edit: Ooops, you're in Canada!

Yup, no specific SBR category here. Any AR, regardless of barrel length is range-only.
