It took me a long time to accept the slightly odd looks & design features of the SR9c... but friends kept urging me on and that quest for the most compact 10+1 round 9mm pistol finally made me go for one... albeit "slightly used" and at a terrific low price.
Now, the American Compact is out and it seemingly "fixed" some of my minor complaints. Given it's low cost and how little I have invested in my SR9c, it would be the world's cheapest upgrade ever.
Yes, I know it's really a 12-rounder limited to 10-rounds in moonbat states and that bothers me... but the height isn't supposed to be any greater than the SR9c although weight is up.
I was supposed to go look at one today but I punted. Too many other things on my plate. Still nowhere around here to try one out either so look is about all I can do before buying.
It's certainly not a top priority, but my engineer's curiosity has got me thinking and wondering and asking myself: "Hey, why not"?
