** PICS ADDED**Atlanta PD revolvers through the years....& my 2000 post!
I pondered as to what would be appropriate for post # 2000 and opted for this:
From top to bottom:
1) Colt 1878 .44-40 (1890).
2) Colt Police Positive Special .38 Special (1929)
30 Colt Official Police .38 Special (1937)
4) Since this is the S&W Forum... Model 10-6 (1975). This was the last wheelgun issued by A.P.D.
All of these bear Atlanta Police Dept markings.
Best,
Charles

Nice quartet, although a little light on brand S .
Do you happen to know if the standard barrel model 64 was A.P.D. issue?

You told me you had an 1878 New Frontier DAA, and there it is. When it comes to LE guns, that's got to be the most amazing one!

Congrats on #2000!
Could you maybe add a picture of one or two of the dept. markings for my collection? I love confirmed ones ....

Charles, that is really a nice spread. Getting a vertical time spread like that would seem incredibly difficult... especially with all bearing department markings. Congratulations, you've set a high bar for others of us who collect LEO revolvers.
