I bought my first Glock last week. I decided on a Glock 19 because it's big enough to operate well yet small enough to carry at home comfortably. No more having one gun for home and one for carrying. The standard magazines are legal in Colorado (M&P magazines aren't) and it's small enough for my wife to hold comfortably.

Based on how she does with the 19 we're considering a second 19 for her or a 26 If we can find one for her to shoot before purchasing .

Either way we only have to buy 19 magazines for either gun and we can get aftermarket Pmags for half the price of OEM magazines

Good for you. I like the Glock 19 too, I have one and the Mrs. has one also, nice light little pistols. I have a Glock 23 also but I think the 19 is easier to shoot.

My 19 also servers both roles. Have two Pmags. A 15 and a 21 round. Both have performed well.
