,22 TCM?
So I was sitting around thinking (I know not always a good idea ), I just purchased a RIA TAC II in 10mm and really like the gun. The same LGS has a .22TCM/9mm combo for sale. It seems like the TCM would be a good companion to my model 53 in .22 Jet. I could also use the 9mm barrel for inexpensive practice shooting. Unfortunately in Colorado we are limited to the single stack model.
Anybody with any experience with the .22TCM round?

I have used a 22 TCM for 3/4 years and it shoots well. The barrel came from the Thompson Center Assoc. as well as the dies which are a special order through Horniday or TCA. It is a nice little cartridge to shoot and no kick. DGinVT

I have the 5" barrel high capacity model. 22 TCM is a blast(literally) to shoot. The muzzle blast of a full house 357 mag and the recoil of a 22 magnum rimfire. I enjoy shooting all three barrels I have for this 1911; 22 TCM, 9mm and just recently put a 38 Super barrel on it. It is no bullseye pistol, but plenty accurate for my purposes....plinking and shooting some steel plates. I reload all my ammo for this gun, but TCM factory stuff can be had for around $18/50.....not too much higher than 45 acp ammo.

22 tcm rifle
I have a 22 tcm rifle. Got it for low$. Shoots like an updated KHORNET, Fairly accurate, 2300-2500 fps with a 30-40 grain pill. Cheap to reload, using 296 and 40 grain sierras.

Whose barrel did you use and how much fitting did it take? Been wanting to do this since I got mine.

I thought CO was a pro-gun state, or did the Denver liberals and their pot take over? Seriously, I didn't know there were such things as mag restrictions there.
Side note: I've always wondered about the .22 TCM. It looks awesome, but not awesome enough for me to justify an new pistol and a new caliber to reload.

After one mass shooting (can't remember which one) a 15 round capacity law was passed.
