Duck duck squirrel skinner knife
I posted back in December about a guy who makes knives from old tool metal like files and crosscut saw and sawmill saw blades. I've bought several knives from him for my own use and for gifts for others and his prices are reasonable. He usually has a couple of tables at the gun show down in Conway, Arkansas, so I made another trip to the semi-annual gun show today and ended up picking up yet another knife from him.
This one he calls a 'duck duck squirrel skinner' with a stabilized curly maple handle and blade made from an antique circle saw and that blade is sharp! I didn't think knife with sheath for sixty bucks was bad.
Back in December I bought from the same knife maker an Ol' Hick made from a old saw blade and another skinner he made from a Black Diamond file, both very nice. I think my favorite knife I've bought from him was a little finger style skinner with a corn cob handle.

The latest one looks very handy and versatile. What is the blade length? Thickness?
Pretty little thing, too.

I would rather have one of those for $60, versus a $600+/4 year wait Randall. I am sure some will disagree, but I don't have any needs that require a knife to be 10x the price to get a job done. Must be for collectors I guess.
Those look like some decent quality too, and he is recycling old metal and making something new. Gets my vote every time.
