Edmund Davidson knives
This past hunting season I was given a knife that is a real beauty. The original owner scratched it up some. But it makes me feel easier using it. It will hold an edge that much is for sure. And best of all I was fortunate enough about 3 years ago to sit down one evening and have a few drinks with Edmund. A heck of a nice gentleman and an artist in his own right. Looks like he won't make a knife for less then 2 grand now. I doubt I will ever be fortunate enough to own another one. And it measures approx. 7 1/8" OAL and blade length is about 3 1/8". It makes a very handy skinning knife. Hope you all enjoy.

You've got a heck of a friend. Mr. Davidson is a top notch Smith.
Here's a 20+" intergral knife he made. Scrimshawed by Linda Stone and engraving by Jere Davidson. It originally started out as a 52 pound bar of 440-C stainless.

Yes he is. The night I met him he had his newest knife that he had made. I believe he was gonna sell it for more then $200,000!! It was about 20" long and was engraved with gold, and had diamond and emeralds mounted into the handle. He wouldnt let us hold it, and I don't blame him the way the whiskey was flowing at that deer camp that night.
