Marbles stag on stag knife age
I was wondering if anyone could give me an approximate age on my Marbles knife. I don't have a reference book showing tang marks. The blade on this one is right at 8" long. Any help is appreciated!

Welcome to the forum. Eight inches is a whopper! I can not help with dating it but I can invite you to show off pictures of its stag. I like stag on knives.

In 1998, Marble's started etching their tangs rather than stamping them, so your stamped tang puts it before then, at least. Is there a patent date on the pile side? If not, that puts it later than 1932. Twenty minutes' hunting around on Bladeforums got me that much.
I think I have seen a chart of Marble's tang stamps somewhere there, from when I was trying to identify my small Marble's knife. If you hunt around over there, you may find it, or post some pictures and somebody can probably tell you. Pictures of both sides of the knife showing any markings, and a pic of the pommel nut will be helpful.

I appreciate all the tips. Here's a full side pic. There is no tang stamp on the opposite side. Ultimately I'd like to figure out what a fair market value would be for this knife.
