Default Crossfire II

Anyone use the Crossfire II series of Vortex. Just doing some information gathering on those.

Friends don't let friends buy Taurus.

I purchased one last week a 6-18x44. I just received it last night and mounted it on my Remington 700 sps 308. It is a great scope from what I can see. The glass is crystal clear the turrets have a great click and line up with the lines. Im planning today to go shoot it and see how it does. I did a few months back buy my dad a 2-7 power for his ar 15. He likes it also. Hope this helps

I have 2. A 3x9 on my AR and a 4x12 on an Axis. Great for the money. I understand warranty problems fixed with no problems.

I have a Vortex Diamond Back HP 4-16x on my DPMS .308LR. It is a very nice quality scope and, IMO, is better quality than the Leupold Vari X I line.
Don't get me wrong, the majority of the scopes that I own are Leupold but, when I found the Vortex on sale at the grand opening of a Calbela's for $249.95, I didn't hesitate.

I had been looking for a scope to replace the Burris 1.75 x 5 scope that was on that rifle to take advantage of the accuracy exhibited by the DPMS. I has not let me down in two years of solid use.

just recently picked up a 6x18x44 and installed it on a new weatherby 243.

I was immediately impressed with the clarity of the scope and it seemed to be right on when zeroing the gun at 100 yds. the point of impact moved with the clicks as we walked in the zero.

the turrets are removable so it is easy to set the scope to zero upon zero

if you are eligible you can pick it up at gov-x for $149 or at least that is what they were two weeks ago
