Very, very nice and great photos too! My retirement finances have forced me to settle for a (still pretty nice) Browning BLR-22... I guess we won't ever again see a steel-receiver US-made levergun. The Henry's are nice but the .22's are just too chintzy for me.

You'll be even more pleased with your purchase when you see how it shoots. Never seen a 22 rf or22 mag 9422 that would not shoot extraordinarily well.

I'm more of a 39a fan myself but I have to say I would make room in the safe for that anyday. That is a beauty.

Love the oiled wood. The glossy stuff on rifle stocks turns me off anymore.

Interesting, I've never seen one with the curved lever. They are sweet shooters.

I believe that's the difference between the standard and XTR models and the "Legacy" model I picked up.

Very Nice! I never owned the Marlin lever action .22, but did own a 9422 Trapper in .22 Magnum, that happened to have some very nice wood. I was always impressed by the Very Smooth action of these little guns. Function was flawless. Never a failure to feed, fire, extract and eject. Just quality little guns.

Yeah, really like the lines of the pistol grip stock and curved lever. Very nice!
