Default GP100 paired with a Rossi 92 Stainless

My GP100 Match Champion received a new front sight and a new companion. The front sight has been upgraded to the Novak night sight. The install was a snap. It still works well in the daytime but now is set up better for night duty.

I also came across a used Rossi 92 357, and made a deal to bring her home with me. It's a blast to shoot and pairs great with the GP100. The trigger is 5lbs but nice and crisp. If I ever have to "bug out" I think this will be my setup. The GP100 in my Simply Rugged chest harness and the Rossi 92 on my shoulder.

Very nice combination!

It's next to impossible to find a nice, used lever in .357 at a realistic price around here.

Very nice! I have a variant of your combination. A standard GP100 4" matched with the 16" Rossi in stainless.

It would make a good pair for Bugging Out. I might slip an additional 638 in my pocket as well.

Nice Rig!

I'm adding words because Nice Rig is too short to post....

I hear ya'. I was able to make a straight across trade for it at a local pawn shop by offering up a seldom shot gun of mine. I lost about $50 or so in the deal...but they have to make a living and I ended up with something I will shoot and enjoy much more.

There's a good chance my Ruger LCR 357 might tag along as well.

I added a Skinner peep sight, a stainless magazine follower, and a stainless magazine spring cut down to just over 6" beyond the mag tube so it loads easier. It's just about perfect now.

The rifle really, really likes American Eagle jsp's and provides much enjoyment when shooting water jugs.
