HK VP9 sk released!
Hi All!
So, the new HK VP9 sk has been released and it is quite expensive. In some places it's going for $700+ and here in CT, I've seen it for $629 at a LGS. I would love to buy it, but I feel like polymer guns should not be so expensive. It just needs to go BANG every time, not make breakfast! Anyway, does anyone have plans on purchasing one? Also, there's a video of Daniel Shaw testing it and having spring issues. Here's the video.

That video told me nothing about the gun except that it didn't work 100% of the time. Waste of time.

The video was added to give you a glimpse of the VP9 sk. Also, if you've searched Youtube then you would know that there are VERY limited videos of the gun since it's still brand new. This was one of maybe three videos total posted, and the longest of the three. If you saw it as a waste of time, then too bad for you, right?! Have a good one!

Looks like someone couldn't get the slide release in all the way so they used a hammer and a drift!

Feeling is not a unit of measure. Unless you're in that business and know how much things cost.
As to the gun. Meh. I like HK, I have HK but if it's anything like the P30sk, or the P2000sk then it's too small and too fat in the grip

Yea, I hear you. But if I'm spending my hard earned money then I better be FEELING the price tag; otherwise I'm not buying it! And never shot the other HKs so I'm not sure how they measure against the VP9. I'm just hoping this one is all what it's cracked up (or priced up) to be!

Only thing I can say is that anyone can make you FEEL the poop you just bought was worth it. Anyone can pimp shine pot metal. Last I read Federal had something like 300k through their USP45 with only a few minor parts changes. They guarantee their up to 100k without major parts changes. THAT is what I spend my hard earned money on.
Based on HK performance this gun should be a success. 2 small hangups doesn't mean anything at this point as it's an example of one and neither was a serious problem. If anyone is looking for a gun that never failed ....keep looking
