Default Finally felt at home

We moved a lil over a year ago from central Florida (50 years for me) to northern rural Florida. Its been a lil over a year. We have had major remodeling on what we bought up here so needless to say I have been a very busy boy lol. Today I took a break and road my Goldwing Motorcycle into town to do some things. I have noticed up here that the mom and pop gun stores up here are lets say just plain nasty and junk thrown every where. And a very un welcome look from owners. Well I found time to finally go into local range. Was greeted with a warm welcome. They sell some firearms there too. So now I have found a new indoor range. I like to and have always done business with smaller firearm dealers in the past. The one in centeral Florida I bought all my firearms to date from them .

Hubby's Goldwing is his ticket to sanity. Says every ride is a mini-vacation. The Wing combined with a good shooting range should cure just about all ills.

Good luck getting settled in.

I've only been a back-seater on the Wing, but it is great back there. On the highway, I can sleep for hours until he uses the brakes and my helmet pivots forward and hits his.

Congratulations

I am in the process of moving from South Florida to Central Florida

My first shaft drive was a Gold Wing back in the late 70s. Currently I have a Moto Guzzi that has not been ridden in several years due to how crazy the drivers are getting.

While I dread the move, I also look forward to it. I already have the local indoor range scoped out for regular practice. Probably less than 10 minutes from the house

Congrats central Florida can be a lil crazy traffic but not what your use to south. Wow the Guzzi would love Central. The one thing here is I dont miss the traffic . There isn't any up here roads have a bit of twist and slight hills lol

Went down to my favorite local gun store about thirty five miles away to pick up my new Shield 45 today and decided it was too nice to take the truck so hopped on my Road King and took off. Great day for a ride around here and I came home with my new pistol. All is right in the world for now.

What flavor of Guzzi? I sold my 850T3 to help fund a move almost 20 years ago, still miss it.

Glad you found a range where you're welcome. Been in several of those "mom & pop" gun stores here in Arizona. Dark, trashy, unwelcoming, we don't need you or want you here attitudes. Never could understand how they thought that was a viable business model. Apparently it wasn't. They all went out of business sooner or later, usually sooner.
