.... it's really quite satisfying.

I installed a muzzle brake the other day which required a 2MOA adjustment UP to re zero.

Today I got around to resetting the scope adjustment turret back to the 0 mark. Then I got to thinking I hadn't taken the rifle apart and inspected since I got the stock for it a couple years ago. Idle hands ya know....

Removed the scope and then receiver from stock. Reassembled with same torque specs as before using Fat Wrench. Went to the club to verify 100yd zero.

First shot.
Removed magazine.
Ejected shell.
Put rifle back in bag and went home a very satisfied and happy camper.

It sure is rewarding getting the right combination of high quality components put together so this can happen. Makes the sport that much more enjoyable.

Now you should of shot 3 rounds just make sure you just did not get lucky!! GEN Patton had that happen at the Olympics', he put one two bullets through same hole, line referee said he missed entirely!!

Is the stock from Magpul and called the M Lok?. I have a rem 700 Sendero with 26" barrel and in 308 caliber. Never could get a good cheekweld with that stock. Any stock prep done like glass bedding?. And how does the detachable magazine work for you.? Sorry about the questions but you are the first I've see with the Magpul stock. Thanks,Frank

It's called the Hunter. No glass bedding required. Yes, the optional mag well and magazines work perfect. 5, 6 and 10rd magazines (the 5rd mags are designed to be modified to 6). Everything about the Hunter stock was simply drop-in and go, no modifications were necessary for my Rem 700 SPS with Timney trigger. Yes, the stock is designed to work with M-LOK attachments. The only thing I noticed different than listed below is that Magpul now makes a "no rise" cheek piece in addition to the .25in .5in and .75in cheek pieces.

ChattanoogaPhil. Thanks for the response. Looks like all the adjustments one would need to dial in the stock. Not looking for extended magazine capacity just a well fitting stock with shorter length of pull than what's available on the factory stock. That and a good cheek weld. Thanks again, Frank
