Pocket holster for Ruger LCR
I traded around and got a 357 magnum lcr yesterday. Any recommendations for a pocket holster? I prefer a soft leather one.

It's not leather but I like the Remora holster because you get the flexibility of using it IWB as well as a pocket holster. Sticky brand is another good option that is similar to Remora. I've had good experiences with both but prefer Remora.

DeSantis Nemesis. It goes in my front pocket, it is in a Nemesis! I just bought 2 more this weekend, around $24 each. I've been getting about 2.5 years service from them. Cow Leather ones last about 6 months!
The tacky surface will become covered with lint and dust, use a lint roller to freshen!

Just reached into my pocket and pulled out a LCR in a Uncle Mikes size 4. Cheap and works well (stays in place) and no one has spotted anything.

I have two I use back and forth: Uncle Mikes #4 and DeSantis Nemisis. They last for years, and produce no wear on any of my guns.
The DeSantis is great for a cargo pocket: holds the gun up straight, and the uncle Mike is great for regular pockets.

Another vote foe the Nemesis. For pocket carry you need to accomplish a number of things; you just want a non-retentive pouch, covering the trigger, keeping "stuff" out of the gun's action. In my experience leather pocket holsters tend to be too "grabby." Your goal ought to be, when putting your hand in your pocket for your firearm, the gun should be right where it will fill your hand.
Best of luck in your final choice.

I use my J-frame Mika for a pocket holster with my LCRs. I have a couple Remoras and a Bell Charter Oak for IWB use, as well.

The Sticky MD-5 works great as an LCR pocket holster. Inexpensive, too.
