Rock Island .22mag auto
Anyone have any experience with the Armscor XT 22 magnum?
A CZ 452FS/mannlicher in .22 magnum is my favorite "walking in Penn's Woods"rifle .................. a recent thread on the Model 48 got me thinking about a .22 magnum handgun.
MSRP $598.......... translates to about a $500 gun shop price.
15 rounds of .22magnum....
5'' barrel .......1300-1700fps....170ish to 200 fpe....
hummmmmmm

Looks interesting. Not sure as it's as interesting as the .223TCM/9mm.

At least the 9mm will probably be around a little longer.

I have two RI 1911's (10mm and .22TCM/9MM) and really like both guns. Had to replace the mag catch on the 10mm but other than that no issues. I just wonder about .22WMR in any autoloader, not a great track record. You might post on some of the 1911 forums to see if anyone has any first hand experience. The .22TCM round is very potent and can be had with the hicap 17 round magazine.

I like my PMR-30. I don't mind the space gun look and it's lightweight, has a very nice trigger, and holds 30 rounds. It's been 100% reliable and I've shot a variety of ammo through it.

I would never hesitate on a RIA handgun, I have two of them, both 1911 compacts in 9mm and 45. 100% reliable and above average accuracy.
