Default Hawk 982 12 gauge shotgun

A local shop had an as new Hawk 982 shotgun with ghost ring sight. The gun was on consignment from a customer who won it and did not want it.
The price was $150 so I bought it and I am looking for comments if any of you have one.

I have one. No complaints. It's just more or less a Chinese 870 clone.

Good buy. I have spent more on a cheap date. And gotten less.

I have a 981 with ghost ring sight. My son and I have put about 1000 rounds through it with no malfunctions. I understand that most Remington 870 upgrades/accessories will fit the Hawks, but I haven't tried any. I think I paid $125 for it new a few years back. Good reliable gun. Breaks down for cleaning just like an 870.

It kicks like an angry mule, though.
