Default My CZ Skorpion 61S in 32 ACP

Hello gentlemen,
Just for the fun of it, I post these 2 pictures of my 32 ACP Skorpion. The folding stock has been extended a little bit because I found the original one really too short to use it properly.
FYI, I only use factory ammo with FMJ bullets. It works well and it is a very nice tool for plinking.
You also see the original leather holster that allow the carrying of the SKORPION loaded with a 10 rounds magazine , and the leather holster for 2 additionnal 20 rounds magazine.
It is a quite common weapon but I really like it.

I sure like the older ones compared to the new ones. Looks like
fun. I assume you had to get a stamp for it?

If this is full auto, how does French law address that ? Are special permits needed?

I first encountered the Skorpion in a Modesty Blaise novel years ago and looked it up in gun books. A very interesting weapon.

I 've never seen one in person.

I saw only one, about 30 years ago. When I asked the Chief of Police (not my agency) what his plan were for it, he decided to keep it for himself. Unregistered, but I am sure he will register it if the rest of the amnesty is opened and he is still alive.

This model is not full auto, this is not allowed by law here in France. This Skorpion is a semi automatic version, here we need a permit (valid for 5 years) and a shooting licence to be renewed (and paid) every year + a certificate from a doctor and a gun safe at home.
For hunting rifles: You need to pass an exam and then you have a hunting licence (for life), but you need to pay a tax every year to be entitled to hunt.

For the bad guys and for the terrorists, it's probably easier to have a gun...

Is a semi receiver available for sale in France.? I have a kit which I would assemble as a semi-auto here and then register it as a short barrel rifle if I could get a proper receiver that permits the stock attachment.

to italiansport : I think you could visit the site of Arsenal Military Sales and call them. They have a lot of equipment, it's not in France, it's in Belgium and the chance they speak American will be higher than in France.
AMS Arsenal Military Sales

There is another shop, in France, that might provide this type of equipment, it's called Esistoire. You might also call them. ESIStoire - Vente d'objets militaires, armurerie

My friend said in Yugoslavia they're refered to as "chicken shooters" due to the 32acp.

Of course they were plentiful a few years ago and I just ignored them. Now I kinda would like to have one
