WHO MADE THIS KNIFE
Can anyone identify this knife ? I was cleaning out my old holster/grip/knife drawer and found this knife I'd forgotten I had. It's a very well made folder, sharp as a razor, with a nice lock up. No identification marks . 7" overall with a 3" blade. Any help ??

Big difference between sharp and a blade that will hold an edge

Made by a little 8-year old girl named Ying in a Chinese sweat shop. Usually, on knives like that, if you look closely, you can sometimes make out the words "Starkist Tuna" on the blade.

Are you serious? Does Spyderco have such a deal?

Chip-
I hope that doesn't mean they melt the tuna cans for the blade "steel."
BTW, I eat a lot of Chicken of the Sea pink salmon in both cans and those envelopes. They do say it's wild-caught salmon. What you get in restaurants and grocers as fresh salmon is usually farm-raised and has a lot of carcinogens.

I'm gonna say it is a knockoff of a Byrd. Instead of a round thumb hole, the Byrd knives have a teardrop shape. The example here mimics, but does not match the Byrd thumb hole. It may be an attempt to avoid design copyright issues.

Jim, on some of those questionable knives, I don't think they even take the time to melt the tuna cans down. I think they just flatten 'em out, stamp out a blade, and call it good.

Once in Juarez we bought a cast 'iron' Mexican park bench.
When we got home and I assembled it, I noticed a scratch in the black paint.
It looked like silver. Hold on- maybe not!
It's made from aluminum.
Probably made from some brands we all know- beers, sodas, etc.

I believe you're thinking of Pakistan. Go dull on the second slice of Velveeta.
