Here is one given to me by my Sister and Brother in law a few years ago.
It was made by White from Hartwell, GA. they live not far from there.
The Ivory bands on the handle are from a piece my Dad bought in Africa many years ago. The blade is about 5" long.

Good job on the Fiddleback OP. They make a fine blade.
This Chute knife by TK Steingass gets here tomorrow.

I only recently found out that Ace Las Cruces, NM knifemaker
Cody Westcott passed in 2014.
Cody was not only a top maker, he was a great guy, family man and Citizen.
Here's two Cody Westcott custom folders.

Very nice knives in useful lengths. This from a guy who owns way too many long knives. But when you select one to use for a task, you almost always pick up the smaller ones, just long enough to do what needs doing but none extra to get in the way. Guess its impolite to ask the prices of knives shown here, but it would be interesting. Many "over the counter" small ones are cheap and cheaply built. The longer ones are usually expensive and the price goes through the roof.
One of the reasons I like Randall and Gil Hibben customs is that they use a quality sheath. Often that will drive up the price of a knife, but to include a cheap sheath certainly doesn't do anyone a favor. But it does sometimes tell the observer what the builder thinks of his product. Yes, I prefer H H Heiser leather!

For Sheaths ...... check out "Savage Sheaths" in Va. ... a good or even OK knife......Ka-bar to Custom...... deserves a good sheath. Harry (Savage) makes a great sheath.....I think I'm up to 6 or 8...... <4'' blades to 7"
Not connected in any way' but will recommend him highly................. 7-10 day turn around..................

Here my Edmond Davidson small drop point hunter that was gifted to me. I could never afford to pay for one myself. But his logo is "Build today for many tomorrows", and I hope it goes to one of my children one of these days. I know it will hold an edge that any of my other knives won't. It does need to be dropped off the next time I pass his house and let him sharpen and polish it back to new.

My Fibbleback Forge Kerphart would sell from a dealer for $385 without the sheath. I don't think Andy includes sheaths with any of his knives. I bought mine from a BushcraftUSA forum member, it's new and unused with original box and he included the sheath which is very high quality. I paid $255 shipped to my door. Fiddleback Forge is about an 1.5 hours from me so when I go to the mountains to visit my parents I can swing by for a sharpening.

I love the taper tangs on some of the customs knives! My only current one I have is a Dan Tope Custom, but there is a Jesse Hemphill on its way to me!
I also have one of Dan's midtech knives, a Bulldog.
