Default New Purchase Browning BL-22

Just got it today, Browning BL-22 Grade 1.
Was priced at the Fort Bliss PX at $585.00, minus 15% for Fathers Day sale, redeemed a $20.00 gift card and minus $50.00 Browning Factory Rebate. I'm into it for $432.00.

Did pretty good, I think.

I think you did well on the price. A lot of gun for the money. Very nice rifles, very well made, and that action is slick. I have owned several, and my only complaint has been pretty stiff trigger pulls. They are accurate if you can control the trigger. Pictured is the BL-22 grade 2 I sold several years ago. Only reason I sold it was that I like my 9422's a little better.

My dad started me shooting on bolt action Chipmunk, but when I got slightly older he gave me a BL-22 with the stock shortened to fit me better. I used that gun for years, long after I had outgrown the shortened stock, just because I loved the action and feel of the Browning. I'm still fond of them today.

I still have it, maybe I'll be able to start a nephew on it in another year or so when he's old enough.

Congrats, they're great guns and you did well on the price!
